Actually I was really preparing myself (and our home) for Halloween...but surprise, surprise!

Just as I was done with the hallway and I looked out the window I saw Snow <3
Yes, it snowed for the first time this year - pretty early I think! We didn't think that it was going to stay, though.
But, when we looked out the window again later we saw that there was a beautiful thin layer of glittering snow that looked just like sugar icing! Now nothing could have kept me inside anymore - I put some warm clothes on Ronja (nope, they didn't match at all...our closet isn't ready for winter jet...) and Sebi and I went just as we were, all in our couch-sitting-outfit, and we went for a little evening walk just around our block.

and I have to admit that I am pretty much in a christmas mood right now

not stylish I know...but hey, we had great fun beeing spontaneous like that...

 haha...a little taste of what our home looks like now...

...not much, just a little get-together and getting into the whole baby-boy thing ;D

Things I love about autumn:

1. it's getting colder

2. raindrops playing soft melodys... 

3. ...leaving puddles on the floor...

4. ...that make you want to put on bright and shiny rubber boots!

5. yellow-orange-red-brown colored leaves swifting through the sky...

6. ...and falling on the floor, leaving heaps that make you want to jump in

7. warm and cozy stockings

8. collecting chestnuts

9. taking long walks outside (especially with lanterns at night)

10. pumpkins

11. eating soup, drinking hot chocolate and tea

Our to-do-list this autumn:

1. collect chestnuts and tinker funny figures (check)

2. make a jack-o'-lantern (ckeck)

3. eat pumpkin soup (check)

4. tinker lanterns and do a night walk

5. bake something sweet

6. bake something hearty

7. invite friends to a Halloween Party - go trick or treating with Ronja

8. watch a spooky, scary movie 

9. read a good book (check)

10. jump into a heap of leaves (check)

everyone that saw Ronjas room before, knows that it was totally pink...so since our little princess will have to share her room with her brother for now, I decided to paint two of the walls green and added some green chairs, a green light and a sheep carpet...of course Ronja still has some pink left! 

the room is still missing the new cupboards and some details, but here are some impressions of what it looks like right now
