.:[wonderful joys of christmas part2 - christmas baking]:.

One thing I looked forward to, from the very first moment that I knew I was pregnant with my daughter was:

Baking christmas cookies

And now, that Ronja Elina was 19month old I decided to give it a first try...and it worked out so good!
She had so much fun - especially decorating the cookies! Actually the decor that was supposed to be on top of the cookies - was all over her AND the living room floor in the end - but it definitely was so worth it!

get the party started:

.:[my baby boy):.

on the 3rd of december 2012 at 8:14 am god send us another of his beautiful and most precious angels.

                                  51cm long,
                                                       weight 3480g

we named him Samuel Moses

...and he is simply perfect!

I am so blessed...
I can't find other words for it. And they aren't even strong enough to be the expression on how I feel.
For the second time my body (wich I never respected, acceptet in any way and never treated very well) was giving birth the natural way - this time even without any painkillers - and once again it took no longer than one hour from entering the labor room till having my beautiful baby in my arms.

And then there he was...
eyes wide opened he looked arround and when he turned at me his eyes were such a shiny strong emerald green - it just overwhelmed me and made me fall in love with him so deep and unconditionally...
I never had expected this. During the whole pregnancy I kept asking myself if I'd be able to love any other person on this planet only half as much as I love my daughter Ronja Elina...and I was totally convinced that giving birth for the second time would never be as special and mindblowing as the first time...
but Samuel proofed me more than wrong...

I am so thankful...
for this wonderful birth expierience and every little moment with my baby boy that I was givin so far and I can't possibly express with words how much I am looking forward to seeing him raise and becoming who ever he will become.

Samuel Moses - I love you with all my heart

.:[wonderful joys of christmas time part1]:.

merry-go-round
...and other joys on the christmas market...

If I ever mentioned how much I love christmas on this blog, excuse me, for I have to mention it again!
It truely is my favorite time of the year - especially now, that I have children!

And what's one of the top three on the to-do-before-christmas-list? Right! Take a stroll over a christmas market. Drinking punch while that special smell of incense, fir and almonds is filling the air...bells are ringing, christmas music is playing...not even the fact that I was more than 10 days over due could keep me away from this magical place!

I am sure you can guess what she wants to say here...

and this was just to funny...long story short - we wern't sure if Ronja would get scared in a merry-go-round all by herself, so we were looking for an older child to sit her next to. And we considered that a five year old boy, might be the right choice. BUT as soon as this thing started, the boy just broke out in tears screaming and shouting to get him out - well...if you think, this might have impressed our daughter - nope. Not one little bit. She just kind of made a face like: "I don't know about that dude, but I am having fun here"

haha...when the little man left the wagon - we had to pay for three more rides...

and she totally fell in love with this one!

what a great day! one of my favorite memories so far!
