I wrote him a lil note - survivor! first day of work passed! Now go for the weekend! Yay!
And made some broccoli-cheese-casserole on noodles - and went down to the playground with Ronja, to wait for her Dady.
When he came arround the corner, I allready saw him smile! He does like his new working place and it's not too far to drive. Colleagues are all the age of 24 to 30 - perfect.
We went inside and had the meal, talking about his expiriences at work. I am very grateful, that it turned out this way!
during the day, I covered my last exident...I left the stove on but closed the lid! You see the result...the whole kitchen was full of black thick smoke! There was a towel laying on the lid of the stove and it almost caught fire!!! I was very lucky, I noticed it before anything worse happened! Gush, I don't even want to think any further about this...
The coffee and tea area had some stains, so I decided to put some plastic sheet over that, too.
and the cupboard in Ronjas room, got a new look, too. She likes it :D I'll paint the rest of it in white soon.
Table ready for dinner - yummy.
And here is a book I bought a few days ago:
When I was reading my cousins blog, I came across a post about saying prayers...I somehow started missig saying prayers before having dinner - like in the good old times in Arizona. I really like the fact, that you eat much more intentional - just aware of, that this is not as a matter of course. And I wanted Ronja to get use to praying...she should know, that there is someone to talk to, if mom and dad don't seem like the right persons to go talk to...well, back to the book - I found it when i was looking through na much to expensive toy store...it's full of bright colored paiges each with a little prayer-rime to say before eating. I fell in love with it! So now, we are reading one of the prayers before every meal.
As soon as she can say 'amen' herself, I'll start saying evening prayers with her...I hope, Sebi wont mind...
