Premiere! I finally got it done! I got Ronja to play in the sand-box! And yes - she really had fun!
She got a lot of different "sand-toys" for her birthday. Usually we use them in the bathtub, but somehow I felt like it's time to show her what they really are ment for. (I tried to take her to the sand box before, but she wasn't interested at all...)
This time I sat in the sand-box and unpacked all the toys - when I looked up, Ronja was gone.
She was already heading across the playground all on her own...
I should have known, that I wont get her to be interested in anything new, before she got her turn to swing.
I really tried to - but as soon as I sat on the swing, I got sick. (actually I enjoy swinging - but now that I am pregnant, I just can't :( ) Since I knew she would have been very upset if we left without swinging, I just sat her on the swing all by herself and let her sway softly. She did not fall down! This makes me feel a lil needless :P My baby grows up way to fast!

And then sort of a lil mirical happend - she wanted me to take her of the swing  (I never got her off there without tears ever before!) and all by herself she crawled over to the sand-box, climbed in there and played like she never did anything else!
(Ok, actually she mostly threw sand over herself...I don't have to mention, I even found sand in her diaper - but hey, the main thing is - she enjoyed herself! And she used the shovel, the rake and the bukket! Success!)

She didn't stop for about an hour! Then I forced her to take a short break and eat some sandwich and banana - and she actually stayed on our blanket and ate her snack without any objection.

After another short turn in the sand-box and taking a short bobby-car ride we went back home. It sure was an exciting afternoon. I really have to make sure we'll have a lot of those wonderful days this summer, so Ronja knows she's loved and we care for her - before she has to share our attention with her lil sibling...
