We were reading "the cat in the hat" this morning - a Dr. Seuss story I really love - and it made me miss the time I got to spend in Arizona so bad! So I decided to take Ronja to the mall and get things together for a typically US-children-snack. Peanutbutter-jelly-sandwich <3 oh how I missed that!
When we were home, I decoratet the table in her room with some leavings from her party and made her the sweet surprise (to not feel so bad for stuffing my child full with sugar, I gave her a bowl with banana slices to it...not thinking about the fact that banana has a huge ammount of fruitsugar...I am a bad mom)
I turned on a CD with children songs - but unfortunately Ronja found the stop button very interesting...
After this good snack we went to the playground. We took the new Bobbycar with us. On the playground we met a lil 4 year old girl - she was very cute - and wanted to play with Ronja right from the first moment she saw us. It was very cute watching them. (I don't have any pictures of this, because I wasn't sure, if her grandpa who was with her, would mind a stranger taking photos of his grandchild...)
Unfortunately after the third turn of swinging I got sick, so we went back up (Nope, luckely I didn't have to throw up - not at all today, by the way)
Back home we went to her room, played the piano for a lil while and then my sweet lil baby went straight to her lil commode, pulled out some books and took place in her tiny, pink armchair. I am so glad that she likes books (ok, she is only one year old, but I sooooo hope it will stay this way! I don't want a whole-day-tv-watching or sitting-in-front-of-some-playstation-game child...) So I tried to read to her, but she mostly wanted to look at the pictures and having me explain to her what they were showing. She was full of energy and after reading she went right on with wanting to play with her dolls...but I had my afternoon-down and would rather liked to take a nap -.- I let her play in her room and started making dinner. Rice Carbonara :D yummy, yummy. She ate a whole bowl and wanted some of mine - good girl.
For the end of the day I had planned to watch a short cartoon, but it started raining outside, so I switched to making us comfortable in an armchair in front of the window, to cuddle, listen to the raindrops on the window and smelling that wonderful "rainy-air". I could have fallen asleep right there in that chair from the moment I got my behind into it - so don't think, I'm mad or something on the pictures - I am just tired - and I blame it on the pregnancy ;P
..~* I LOVE YOU *~..
